Brooks, Houghton Interim Funding Announces $10.0 Million Investment in Orion Seafood International, Inc.

New York, NY - June 29, 2007 - Brooks, Houghton Interim Funding announced that it has closed on a $10.0 million senior subordinated loan facility to Orion Seafood International, Inc. of which $5.0 million was funded at closing. The BHC investment will be used to fund increased working capital needs as Orion Seafood materially increases its shrimp business.
About Orion Seafood Orion Seafood International, Inc., located in Portsmouth, NH, is one of North America's largest seafood suppliers and a key worldwide supplier of frozen Canadian lobster and snow crab, and frozen shrimp sourced from Asia. Orion has over 1,000 U.S and international customers in the foodservice, retail, and cruise line channels, including Darden, US Foodservice, Winn Dixie, and Royal Caribbean. Relationships with the largest customers average nearly 12 years with some going back to the inception of the Company. The Company was founded in 1988 by Charles Anastasia, the current owner and CEO.
